A life of inspration.

Cornwall

Gregg was born in Truro, Cornwall and spent the first three years of his life at St. Mewan near St. Austell, before his family moved to a cottage near the North Cornwall coast, where he and his sister grew up.
An idyllic childhood, spent exploring the coast and woods near their own home, as well as the wild moorland that surrounded their Grandmother's home on Bodmin moor.
It was a childhood spent building dens and searching the spoil heaps and workings of old mines for mineral samples.  A hobby that had a lasting effect on both of their futures, as can be seen with Gregg's fascination with the reactions, that are caused by different minerals used in the making of his glass and by his sister Dr Sarita Anston-Race CGeol FGS MCSM, following a career as a Geologist.  Gregg studied art in Cornwall before going on to work in a couple of art related jobs, including spending a couple of years at a glass studio, where he discovered his passion for glass.
